PHES is a multidisciplinary Brazilian-American artist from Harlem, NYC. His artwork demonstrates his knowledge of conventional arts along with his connection to HipHop culture, graffiti and street art. His technique with aerosol paints allows him to create work that blends bold lettering and backgrounds with dynamic characters inspired by his own observation, memory and imagination. 

His work focuses on using creativity as a medium for engagement, advocacy and empowerment. He has worked internationally as a cultural ambassador, using art to foster connection and collaboration across communities. Raised by an immigrant family, he draws a strong influence from those areas where cultures collide, using his art to speak for those that also exist in those in between spaces.
